Help start the school year off right with SINA’s annual school supply drive!

Seeking donations for SINA’s annual school supply drive.  Deadline: August 18th.

It’s that time of the year again for the the Southside Institutions Neighborhood Alliance (SINA) school supply drive.  We’re looking to fill 100 backpacks with school supplies for neighborhood children from kindergarten through grade 12.

To that end, donations of any of the items below would be very much appreciated:

  • Colored pencils
  • Crayons
  • Dividers
  • Erasers
  • Folders (3 pocket)
  • Glue sticks
  • Hard plastic school box (or art box/pencil pouch for older students)
  • Highlighters
  • Index cards
  • Loose-leaf paper
  • Markers (washable)
  • Pencils
  • Pencil sharpeners
  • Pens
  • Post-Its
  • Spiral notebooks (wide rule)
  • Three-ring binders

All donations can be dropped off at the Office of Community Service and Civic Engagement (Mather basement, next to the bookstore) by August 18.
