What is a passkey?
A passkey is a passwordless encryption technology that is set up and stored securely on your device. When you authenticate using your fingerprint, face, a PIN, a one-time passkey is generated and used to access your Trinity account.
How to set up a passkey:
Trinity currently supports passkeys for iOS, Android, and Microsoft operating systems running Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari browsers.
- Visit the Trinity Secure Login page and sign in with your Trinity work or school account.
- Click “Add sign-in method” under your security settings.
- Select “Passkey” from the list of available options.
- Re-authenticate using one of your existing sign-in methods (e.g., password, authenticator app).
- Follow the on-screen instructions to create and register your passkey using your device’s biometric or PIN.
