Free and discounted tickets are available for the New England Maker Summit November 12 downtown at MakerspaceCT.

Library and Information Technology Services would like to invite you to join a group of Trinity faculty, staff, and students to attend the New England Maker Summit on November 12th at MakerspaceCT in downtown Hartford.

For the first 15 that respond, your ticket is on us!

You will have a chance to tour Hartford’s premier makerspace and engage with attendees from industry and higher education. Details are still being worked out but you can see more information at their website here. There is a virtual option as well but our offer is for the in person event which includes lunch and a cocktail hour.

Making is a way of knowing. We are investing in these tools for the ways they complement a liberal arts education. Makers are a creative community—one that Trinity students are already embracing, including a recent 48-hour competition to prototype & pitch a winning product idea. They even got a shout-out from the Hartford mayor!

If we run out of free tickets, any member of the Trinity community can purchase a 1/2 price ticket by using the code “trinity” at checkout.

Please contact [email protected] by Friday November 5th if you would like a free ticket.

We hope you will join us!
