Fall 2021 Open Course: ARAB 101-01 “Intensive Elementary Arabic 1”

Along with learning the basic vocabulary of Modern Standard Arabic, you will be introduced to issues that will raise your understanding and awareness of Arabic culture.

Learn the basic vocabulary and grammar of Modern Standard Arabic. This course is designed to develop foundational reading, writing, comprehension, and speaking skills in Arabic.  The cultural element is an integral part of this course. Each new lesson in the textbook introduces issues to raise students understanding and awareness of Arabic culture. This course has no prerequisites.
