An energy curtailment is necessary on August 9 and will affect the air conditioning throughout campus from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Given the heat advisory in effect, Facilities would like to remind those on campus to close the window blinds in offices, classrooms, and any occupied residence halls now, and keep them closed until the system has been restored. This will help keep the buildings cool during the hours when the air conditioning will be offline.
