Join us on September 29th at 12:15 in the Scheuch Atrium at Raether Library and Technology Center for a Banned Books Reading. All are welcome to read! Just bring your favorite banned book, choose a passage, and read with us! https://courseguides.trincoll.edu/banned_books
Banned Books Week is an annual event celebrating the freedom to read. It was launched in 1982 in response to a sudden surge in the number of challenges to books in schools, bookstores and libraries. It highlights the value of free and open access to information. Banned Books Week brings people together in shared support of the freedom to seek and to express ideas, even those some consider unorthodox or unpopular. Choose your favorite banned book and read a passage from it at our Banned Books Reading! This is a public, open reading. All are welcome to show up and read. https://courseguides.trincoll.edu/banned_books
