The Southside Institute Neighborhood Alliance (SINA) is seeking Summer Reader Volunteers for their Summer Reader Program. This year, they are partnering with Organized Parents Make A Difference (OPMAD). They are looking for readers between July 7th- August 8th, between 8:30 AM- 11:00 AM or 1:00 PM- 3:00 PM. Timeslots are 20-30 minutes. Sign up here.

From SINA:

We are partnering with OPMAD Summer program and need reading volunteers to sign up for a 30-minute time slot to read to students in Grades K-5th. The program runs from July 7th to August 4th.

You can bring your own book or choose a book from the school library!
The morning time slots (8:30-11:00am) will be for students at Breakthrough Magnet South at 290 Brookfield Street.
The afternoon time slots (1:00-3:00 pm) will be at Environmental Sciences Magnet School (Previously known as Mary Hooker) 440 Broadview Ter, Hartford.
