What is a passkey?

A passkey is a passwordless encryption technology that is set up and stored securely on your device. When you authenticate using your fingerprint, face, a PIN, a one-time passkey is generated and used to access your Trinity account.

How to set up a passkey:

Trinity currently supports passkeys for iOS, Android, and Microsoft operating systems running Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari browsers.

  1. Visit the Trinity Secure Login page and sign in with your Trinity work or school account.
  2. Click “Add sign-in method” under your security settings.
  3. Select “Passkey” from the list of available options.
  4. Re-authenticate using one of your existing sign-in methods (e.g., password, authenticator app).
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to create and register your passkey using your device’s biometric or PIN.
