The P.R.I.D.E. program is housed under the Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) who's mission is as follows:

The Office of Multicultural Affairs has been established to enhance Trinity’s efforts to utilize the full educational and social benefits of a culturally diverse community. The Office of Multicultural Affairs serves as a resource to the college community and is responsible for promoting multicultural engagement and diversity among students, staff, and faculty.

P.R.I.D.E. leaders, which is a stipend-based job at Trinity College, serve for the entirety of the academic year. There are three distinct job descriptions and responsibilities based on the number of years served as a P.R.I.D.E. leader, but throughout the year all P.R.I.D.E Leaders must throw events revolving around educational, academic, social, and community building. These programs incorporate collaborations at all levels of the College such as student leaders/organizations, Trinity administrators and faculty, and even outside organizations.

3 P.R.I.D.E. Leader Types:

  • First-Year P.R.I.D.E. Leader
  • Returning P.R.I.D.E. Leader
  • Senior P.R.I.D.E. Leaders

*all three have different roles that are explained thoroughly when the job application is posted on the Spring on the Handshake platform.
