Research Symposium
Two research symposia poster sessions are held each year at Trinity. In the third week of September, all students who did summer research are required to present their work. At the end of the spring semester of each year, a College-wide Research Symposium includes work by individual research students across all disciplines.
- Submit abstracts by email to Kathy Mallinson.
-
All abstracts must be in Microsoft Word. Do not use lines, boxes, or borders. Abstract should briefly summarize (up to 300 words) the introduction, methods, results and conclusions of your research. Abstracts longer than 300 words will be truncated. Be sure to spell check and proofread your document and have your faculty sponsor check your abstract before you submit.
-
At the top of the page, include a poster title, presenter name(s), class year(s), and faculty sponsor(s) info.
-
Please note that the area available for hanging posters is 4′ by 4′. Many students like to have their posters professionally printed, but this is not required. Please coordinate printing plans with your faculty sponsor.
