What ISP Offers You
-
ISP gives you the opportunity to get into the laboratory and conduct research early in your college career. Independent research is a key factor in preparing yourself for a career in science or for graduate or medical studies. You have the option of staying on campus for the summer after your first year to conduct research in a Trinity laboratory, with the guarantee of receiving a stipend and summer housing. (The 10-week stipend in 2025 was $5,500)

You will have the opportunity to build strong bonds and make lasting connections with your ISP classmates, many of whom have the same interests as you. This is especially helpful in your busy first semester and it builds a community that lasts a lifetime. Frequent group activities and adventures help bring each cohort together!

- The ISP alumni network is STRONG! ISP alums are proud of the program and always willing to step in to help current students. Having ISP in common makes these conversations easy.
