2020 Travelers Companies Foundation Senior Research Prize
Congratulations to Zorawar Moolenaar Singh ‘20, winner of the 2020 Travelers Companies Foundation Senior Research Prize for his project entitled “PS4CT: Provable Security for Certificate Transparency “. This prize is awarded to student(s) whose senior research project in the field of computer science has been deemed the most outstanding by an independent board chosen from Trinity faculty and The Travelers staff.
Congratulations to Will F. Estony ’21, winner of the 2020 Ralph E. Walde Prize in Computer Science. This prize was established to honor Professor Ralph E. Walde, Professor of Computer Science, and one of the founding members of the Computer Science Department. The prize recognizes a rising senior computer science major who has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement in computer science. The recipient is chosen by a vote of the Computer Science Department faculty.
Congratulations to Seb C. Kryspin ‘20, winner of the 2020 Ralph A. Morelli Prize in Computer Science. This prize was established to honor Professor Ralph A. Morelli, Professor of Computer Science, and one of the founding members of the Computer Science Department. The prize recognizes a rising senior computer science major who has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement in computer science. These awards are given to the seniors judged to have the best computer science posters displayed during the Annual Science Symposium. Congratulations to Ngoc H. Do ’18 and Alexander S. Johnson ’18, winners of the 2018 Bronzell Dinkins Senior Service Award. This award was established in memory of Bronzell Dinkins (1946-2004), Visiting Laboratory Instructor in Computer Science, to recognize a senior for exceptional service to the Computer Science Department. Also, congratulations to Karishma Asthana ’18 for receiving Honorable Mention for the 2018 Travelers Companies Foundation Senior Research Prize.The recipients for these awards are chosen by the Computer Science Department faculty.

Trinity Computer Science major Selina Ortiz ’19 and alum Pauline Lake ’13 mentor student interns from Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy and Pathways Academy of Technology and Design in East Hartford during thier creation of a new app, “Butterfly Spy”, that can be used at the butterfly exhibit at the Connecticut Science Center.
