Teddy Schiff is a partner at Northwood Ventures, a middle market private equity firm, where he serves on the board of many of its portfolio companies, actively working with management teams on various growth initiatives. He previously spent 15 years in the real estate development and investment industry, most recently at Arel Capital, where he was a partner and member of the investment team managing a portfolio of equity and debt investments. Schiff began his career at Lehman Brothers, in both New York and Tokyo, in the Fixed Income Department, where he traded corporate bonds and credit derivatives.

Schiff earned a B.A. in economics from Trinity, where he was a member of Psi Upsilon and the men’s ice hockey team. While a student, he spent a semester studying on Trinity’s Rome Campus. Schiff went on to earn an M.A. from Columbia University, where he was a guest lecturer from 2015 to 2017. As a Trinity alumnus, he served as a member of the College’s Board of Fellows from 2019 to 2022.

Schiff and his family live in Greenwich, Connecticut, where he is an active youth sports coach and enjoys tennis, golf, hockey, and outdoor cooking.
