The Office of Spiritual and Religious Life
The Office of Spiritual and Religious Life advances Trinity College's mission of engaging, connecting, and transforming students by forming students for lives of wisdom, compassion, justice, and hope.
Grounded in Trinity College’s liberal arts mission, inspired by our founding Episcopal tradition’s commitment to inquiry, hospitality, and the dignity of every human person, and by the wisdom of our various religion and spiritual traditions, we cultivate spiritual and ethical maturity, foster communities of belonging, and prepare students to engage religious, philosophical, and cultural diversity with curiosity, humility, and courage.
Through prayer and worship, pastoral care, contemplative practice, dialogue, service, and interfaith engagement, we accompany students as they discern purpose, develop vocation, and flourish as whole persons who enable the flourishing of others.
We envision Trinity College as a community where every student graduates not only with knowledge, but with wisdom; not only with professional ambition, but with purpose; not only with intellectual confidence, but with compassion.
We aspire to cultivate a campus where belonging is experienced, differences become opportunities for learning, spiritual exploration is welcomed, and every member of the community is empowered to contribute to the flourishing of others.
We hope whoever you are, wherever you are from, however you pray, that you will find a spiritual community at Trinity College!
Trinity College Chapel Music Program
Since its dedication nearly 100 years ago, Trinity’s iconic Chapel has earned a reputation as one of Hartford’s great spaces for musical performances. Chapel Music programs include opportunities for learning, musical and spiritual expression, and community. We invite you to enjoy another year of beautiful music at Trinity College Chapel, whether through experiencing the thrilling sounds of the pipe organ, listening to choral music echo throughout the building, or picnicking while the carillon rings out across the quadrangle.
