October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, and we’re challenging you to protect your digital life! Join our special Cyber Quest happening in the Library. This quest is designed to boost your knowledge of online threats and safe practices. Don’t miss this limited-time opportunity to become cyber-savvy and to enter a drawing for great prizes!
This fun and educational quest will guide you through a series of activities and clues designed to boost your cybersecurity knowledge, from spotting phishing scams to creating strong passwords and safeguarding your personal data. Complete the quest and you’ll not only sharpen your cyber smarts but also earn a chance to win exciting prizes!
How to Begin Your Cyber Quest
- Visit the Helpdesk and Scan the Mission 1 QR Code
- Follow the on-screen instructions to start your adventure.
- Explore the Library to find and complete each challenge station (there are 4 of them). Each station covers a key cybersecurity topic, and you’ll need to complete all of them to finish your quest!
- Once you’ve completed every step, you’ll be automatically entered into the Cyber Quest Prize Drawing!
Pro Tips for Success
- Work solo or bring a friend… teamwork can help crack the toughest challenges!
- Take your time to read each clue carefully; some may require a quick online research.
- Keep an eye out for cybersecurity tips hidden throughout the Library; they might give you an edge.
