Gates Quad Construction Update: Pedestrian Routes and Access Changes (September 22)

Beginning the morning of Tuesday, September 22, site fencing for the Gates Quad underground steam pipe project will shift. The pedestrian thruway between Raether Library and Austin Arts will be closed, and the Austin Arts main entrance will reopen. All surrounding buildings remain accessible. Please follow the orange wayfinding signs posted around the perimeter for updated access routes. Work will continue through October 2026.
