Coming soon! LITS Staff is helping support the Backpack Nutrition Program run by Hands on Hartford. Food, cash, check, and Venmo are all accepted! For more info, contact Benny Bauer or Rose Beranis.

We are excited to announce that LITS will be participating in the September 2023 Food Drive in support of the Hands on Hartford Backpack Nutrition Program. This initiative provides essential nourishment to approximately 250 food-insecure school children in Hartford.

As part of our commitment to the community, we will be contributing 10 backpacks filled with nutritious food every week. These backpacks ensure that these children have access to sustenance over the weekends. However, we cannot achieve this alone, and we invite you to join us in this endeavor.

The food drive will officially begin next week, and we will provide more details on how you can contribute to this meaningful cause. Whether you choose to donate food items (see accepted items here) or provide monetary support (cash, check, Venmo), your involvement will make a significant impact.
