Training Opportunity for Faculty and Staff:
The Trinity College Campus Safety Department is pleased to offer this hands-on training which teaches essential emergency response skills for cardiac arrest and opioid overdose situations. Participants will learn Hands-Only CPR, proper AED use, and how to administer Narcan (naloxone) effectively.
This course is not nationally certified; however, it is taught by a nationally certified instructor using current, evidence-based guidelines. The training is intended to provide participants with familiarity and basic knowledge of how to respond in an emergency and what resources are available on campus.

What You Will Learn:
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
- Recognize cardiac arrest and opioid overdose emergencies
- Perform Hands-Only CPR for adults, children, and Infants
- Use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Administer Narcan (naloxone)
- Understand the importance of early action and calling 911
Immediate action during cardiac arrests or overdose events can save lives. This training gives you the confidence and practical skills to respond when every second counts. Space is limited to 30 attendees.
