Notice of Changeover to Cooling

Facilities Services will begin the process of switching from heating to cooling on Monday, April 27. The changeover takes approximately 10–14 days.

As you may know, many buildings at Trinity are on a central heating and cooling system that requires an extensive changeover process in the spring to convert from heating to cooling.  While we do our best to time the changeover to minimize discomfort, weather in the spring can significantly fluctuate from hot to cold within a matter of days, as we experienced over the past week.

Facilities Services will begin the process of switching from heating to cooling on Monday, April 27. The changeover takes approximately 10–14 days.  During this time, there will be no heat or cooling in many of our buildings, and some buildings will be changed over before others.  As a result, you may experience varying temperatures from building to building.
