The Trinity Plus Advising Center is enthusiastically seeking 2-4 faculty members interested in participating in a summer advising initiative for the incoming class of 2030. As part of this initiative, our team of faculty summer advisers will hold individual advising meetings on Zoom throughout May and June, giving our new class a personalized introduction to Trinity, the Trinity Plus Curriculum, and the course selection process.
Major responsibilities include holding short (20-minute) meetings with approximately 100 new students over a six-week period from mid-May to the end of June 2026. The position(s) will receive a stipend, and we anticipate it will entail approximately 15-20 hours of remote work per week. The timing of these meetings is flexible and can be held on weekends or in the evening, depending on the preferred schedule of the faculty member. Faculty from all disciplines are encouraged to apply.
If interested, please fill out this form with information about your background and interest in the position by March 23. Current and former first-year seminar instructors and faculty with experience supporting first-year and undeclared students are encouraged to apply.
