Virtual, No Prerequisites, Meets Wellness Requirements
Are you planning to take a standardized exam (like the MCAT, DAT, OAT, + others)?
Join us this winter to learn more about your chosen exam and evidence-based approaches to succeed!
This co-curricular course prepares students for standardized healthcare program admissions exams (including the MCAT, DAT, & more) through a combination of content review and skill development. Please note, there are no prereqs for this course (so, no need to have taken all the courses you anticipate on your admissions exam!).
Together, we will discuss key concepts in the biological, chemical, psychological, and physical foundations of human health, while actively assessing your readiness across tested competencies.
Emphasis is placed on reflective practice and identifying areas for growth, to improve critical thinking and scientific reasoning skills.
After completing this course, you will gain a strong awareness of your abilities and areas for improvement, supported by individualized and evidenced-based approaches to succeed!
Please email me with any questions. I hope to work together this J-term!
Kindly,
Professor Julia Bekanich
