The Summit-to-Success (S2S) Scholars Program is a high-impact, cohort-based program designed to support new students’ successful transitions and academic engagement in college.
S2S Scholars will identify innate strengths and talents, begin to build their campus eco-system, practice design-thinking skills, and learn to connect the dots between foundational competencies, co-curricular experiences, and the development of a career and life plan.

FAQ
Interactive, dynamic workshops, outings, and activities will be led by Trinity Faculty, S2S peer mentors, and staff from key departments. Students will be guided through self-assessments and designing thinking practices, connected with advisers and coaches for college success skills and strategies, and invited early to immerse themselves in the cultivation of Trinity’s campus resource network, while exploring the future of work and designing a preliminary first-year plan.
Students should plan to move on to campus on Saturday, August 23rd and will participate in Summit-to-Success prior to New Student Orientation. Students will remain engaged and present for the duration of the program from Saturday, August 23rd to Wednesday, August 27th, 2025. Meals will be provided, throughout the duration of the program, and students will be housed in their regular, academic-year dorms.
Yes! S2S Scholars will participate in Trinity’s New Student Orientation Program after our in-person, on-campus Summit-to-Success program.
All first-year members of the 2029 class are eligible.
Please note that students may only register for one pre-orientation program as they run concurrently. Likewise, if a student is a fall athlete, please discuss scheduling conflicts with athletics before registering.

The cost to participate in the S2S Program is $500 per student. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify.
