The Connecticut Museum of Culture and History (CMCH), established in 1825, is the state’s official historical society and among the oldest in the nation. Formerly known as the Connecticut Historical Society, CMCH is the go-to destination for those who want to gain a deeper understanding of Connecticut’s past and how it informs the present.
