Trinity College Partners with Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth
Through a new partnership with the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, Trinity will offer students access to faculty at one of the leading top-ranked business schools.
This winter, at least 30 undergraduate students will pilot the new January Term program, called Tuck Business Bridge. The Program will offer an intensive classroom experience with Tuck’s MBA faculty that includes a capstone team project, recruiting services, and one-on-one career guidance. A Trinity faculty member, staff mentors, and career coaches will support students in the on-campus experience, leveraging Trinity’s Innovation Hub. Full or partial scholarships will be available through a gift from the Raether Family Charitable Trust making this program available to all students.
“We are so grateful to the Raether Family for supporting this exciting partnership and expanding the range of opportunities our students have during the January Term,” said Sonia Cardenas, vice president of academic affairs and dean of the faculty. “The program complements the Trinity Plus curriculum, amplifying the power of a liberal arts education with essential business skills that students can apply to any field.”
The Tuck Business Bridge Program will deliver a comprehensive business intensive including applied sessions in Business Communications, Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Managerial Economics, Marketing, and Spreadsheet Modeling. Through team-based curriculum, students will deepen their leadership, presentation, and collaborative abilities to become better decision-makers and communicators.
Former Trinity Board Chair and distinguished alumnus Paul Raether ’68, P’93, ’96, ’01 and family—also Tuck alumni—were enthusiastic about bringing the program to Trinity. “Trinity’s liberal arts education has prepared legions of alumni for success in careers across the disciplines” said Raether. “The Tuck Business Bridge Program will now add to the undergraduate experience and give our students another significant leg up as they enter the workforce.”
In addition to the intensive business offerings, the program will deliver personalized career resources designed to help students transition into a successful career. And students will have access to a vibrant Bridge alumni community eager to offer one-on-one mentorship, share job and network opportunities, and provide counsel.
Applications are now open for the 2025 January Term.
