Jonathan T. Ashby ’09, assistant professor of chemistry, works in the lab with Ethan Andujar ’27. Andujar assisted Ashby for eight weeks during the summer on a research project identifying and marking amino acids in proteins.

Henry DePhillips, professor of chemistry, emeritus, is filmed in a chemistry lab for a video about the history of Loctite adhesives. The compound, now ubiquitous across construction and manufacturing, was invented in Trinity’s chemistry labs by Professor Vernon K. Krieble in 1953.
