The 15th year of Samba Fest welcomed community members from near and far to the Trinity College campus on Saturday, April 22. Overcast skies could not dampen the enthusiasm among performers and audience members assembled on Trinity’s Jacobs Life Sciences Center Quad.
In addition to marking a milestone year, Samba Fest also introduces a season full of outdoor events, notably Trinity’s May 5 kickoff for its yearlong Bicentennial Celebration.

The Trinity College Writing Center recently received the 2025 Martinson Innovation Award from the Small Liberal Arts Colleges-Writing Program Administrators in recognition of the Center’s efforts to tutor incarcerated individuals.
In recognition of its strong institutional commitment to community engagement, Trinity College has received the prestigious 2026 Carnegie Elective Classification for Community Engagement.
