For the Media

Media coverage of events

Media representatives may attend and cover Trinity events that are open to the public, but we ask that you always contact our media relations team prior to coming to campus to photograph, record, or interview Trinity faculty, staff, students, and guests. For assistance, email Media Relations (or call at 413-695-6191). We must ensure the rights of those who prefer not be photographed, videotaped, or interviewed. We are responsible for escorting media representatives, conveying facility-access restrictions, and alerting Campus Safety whenever a reporter, photographer, or video crew will be coming to campus. We will assist with requests for pre- and post-event interviews in an approved location that will not impede attendees entering or exiting the event.

Photography and video

Always contact our media relations team in advance of sending a photographer or camera crew to Trinity. All requests must include date, time of arrival, and time of departure. In general, photography and videotaping are allowed only in outdoor spaces. Cameras are not allowed inside campus buildings without permission from the media relations team.
