My Favorite Trinity Memory
Rebecca Dunn Reinmann ’76
As a “townie” and “faculty brat” who attended Trinity, Class of ’76, my favorite place at Trinity, favorite professor, and memory is one that preceded my attendance at Trinity. Early on as a child, we lived in faculty housing at 86 Vernon Street. A favorite memory was when my father, LeRoy Dunn, taught me to ride a bike on the old path that ran from the Chapel down to Vernon Street. I recall fondly his running behind me and teaching me a lifelong skill . . . bike riding, as well as economics. Like my brothers, I also majored in and became an economist. The subject was easy since we all had the basics at the daily dinner table. I will note that my father never drove a car and actually rode his bike all the way to and from Hartford’s West End, where we later lived.
