Three of the best Bantam nests on campus have been named the winners of Trinity College’s second annual Room of the Year contest.
After students submitted photographs of their rooms to enter the contest earlier this spring, a panel of judges comprising students and staff selected the finalists, and members of the Trinity community and the public voted for their favorites. Trinity’s Office of Communications and Marketing ran the contest with support from the Bantam Network and the Office of Admissions.
“The quality of submissions this year was outstanding, with students showcasing an impressive range of creativity, personality, and design,” said Caitlin Swan, the College’s social media manager. “The diversity of styles made the selection process both exciting and challenging. We’re excited to continue this tradition as a celebration of community spirit and student expression.”
The winners are:
First Place:
Caroline Howell ’26 – Crescent Street
Second Place:
Izzy Caprioli ’29 – Jackson
Third Place:
Juliana Golas ’27 – Northam Towers
First prize is $300; second prize is $150; and third prize is $75. Winners have their choice of a VISA card or Amazon gift card.
