Trinity College has announced the appointment of three new charter trustees—all alumni—to its Board of Trustees. The new trustees officially begin their terms on July 1, 2025. Read more about them below.

Claire Capeci serves as president of Arnold, a consumer creative agency known for its work across all brand categories, particularly in health and wellness. Arnold NY manages clients whose brands are breaking ground in beauty and body augmentation; mental wellness; ocular, respiratory, and skin conditions; depression; infant health; and more. Prior to Arnold, Capeci spent 12 years at J. Walter Thompson (part of WPP), where she was global president of retail and co-president of JWT New York. Her personal experience spans automotive, QSR, finance, health, and mass merchandise. For nearly a decade, she managed Macy’s, where her work led to industry recognition, and Energizer Personal Care (now Edgewell), where she globally managed brands across grooming, feminine care, and baby categories. Prior to JWT, Capeci was EVP managing director at Lowe Worldwide (now MullenLowe). She started her career in media.

Capeci has been named a Media All-Star by Mediaweek and one of the “30 Most Powerful Women in Advertising” by Business Insider. She serves on the advisory boards of AIM for Melanoma and the Coalition for Healthcare Communications and as an investor/adviser of DeckFusion, an AI-based start-up. She also has been a nonexecutive board director of The Quarto Group. Capeci graduated from Trinity with a B.A. in economics. She previously served on Trinity’s Board of Fellows.

Capeci lives New York City with husband Guillermo and son Mateo.

Jorge Rodriguez ’91

Jorge Rodriguez serves as managing director and head of debt capital markets for Marathon Capital. He covers both public and private debt placements and is responsible for developing Marathon Capital’s suite of debt solutions and services to energy and infrastructure clients. Rodriguez, with more than 20 years of investment banking, capital markets, and investment management experience, has held various positions in sell-side and buy-side capacities as an investment banker and principal investor across the energy and infrastructure sectors. Prior to Marathon Capital, he served as managing director, portfolio manager, and head of infrastructure debt at DWS, where he was responsible for the management and strategic direction of the global infrastructure debt business. Before joining DWS, Rodriguez was managing director and head of infrastructure finance at Dresdner Kleinwort, where he held roles in New York and London and focused on the origination, structuring, execution, and placement of senior and mezzanine debt financings across all energy and infrastructure sectors. He previously has held positions with Aladdin Capital, BNP Paribas, and Chemical Bank. Rodriguez has been involved with several significant wind, solar, biomass, geothermal, and hydro financings involving the acquisition, refinancing, project finance, and restructuring on behalf of financial sponsors and strategic clients.

Rodriguez, a former president of the Trinity College Alumni Association, earned a B.A. in economics from Trinity and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He holds Series 7 and 63 licenses.

He and his wife, Shawn Fields, have two children and reside in New York City.

Teddy Schiff is a partner at Northwood Ventures, a middle market private equity firm, where he serves on the board of many of its portfolio companies, actively working with management teams on various growth initiatives. He previously spent 15 years in the real estate development and investment industry, most recently at Arel Capital, where he was a partner and member of the investment team managing a portfolio of equity and debt investments. Schiff began his career at Lehman Brothers, in both New York and Tokyo, in the Fixed Income Department, where he traded corporate bonds and credit derivatives.

Schiff earned a B.A. in economics from Trinity, where he was a member of Psi Upsilon and the men’s ice hockey team. While a student, he spent a semester studying on Trinity’s Rome Campus. Schiff went on to earn an M.S. from Columbia University, where he was a guest lecturer from 2015 to 2017. As a Trinity alumnus, he served as a member of the College’s Board of Fellows from 2019 to 2022.

Schiff and his family live in Greenwich, Connecticut, where he is an active youth sports coach and enjoys tennis, golf, hockey, and outdoor cooking.
