Our goal is to not just help students produce better writing, but to help you develop your skills, and become a better thinker and writer.<\/p>\n<p>We are committed to fostering the welcoming and collaborative community that is fundamental to a liberal arts education. If you write, you belong here!<\/p>\n<p>ChatGPT and other AI writing tools make working collaboratively with peers more important than ever. Our Writing Associates offer human engagement with the writing process; they can help you overcome writer\u2019s block, engage with challenging readings, develop your thinking, and encourage you as you find your authentic voice.<\/p>\n<h2>What We Do<\/h2>\n<p>We&#8217;re located in 115 Vernon Street, the English Dept. Building. You can make appointments using our on-line scheduling system, where you can schedule either face-to-face or online appointments, or you can simply walk in when we&#8217;re open. We&#8217;ll be happy to see you!<\/p>\n<p>You can bring any kind of writing project, from FYSM projects to English literature essays to biology lab reports to urban studies projects. You can even bring visual work, like PowerPoint presentations or graphic design projects.
