Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters Virtual After School Mentoring Program
Help keep kids connected! Mentors are more important now than ever before. Join our virtual, site-based mentoring program to make a huge difference in the life of a child in need in just an hour per week.
As a Virtual Site-Based Big, you will provide your Little with dedicated time and attention for at least one hour per week throughout the entirety of the school year. During structured, facilitated program sessions you will develop a relationship with your Little that will help them better manage the everyday challenges that are part of growing up. With your guidance, your Little will gain confidence in themselves, acquire new skills, and HAVE FUN. Simultaneously, you will experience a sense of discovery, purpose, and enjoyment as you begin to see the world through your Little’s eyes.
Our Virtual After School Mentoring Program matches Trinity students with children from the CREC Montessori Elementary School in a one-to-one mentoring relationship. We will be meeting once a week–probably Tuesday or Thursday at 4:00–on Zoom to do virtual games and activities.
