Although student community engagement will be largely virtual this fall, the Center for Hartford Engagement and Research (CHER) is committed to providing opportunities to engage with Hartford by relaunching our Remote Volunteering Database.
Community partners can share their opportunities with the campus community. Students, faculty, and staff can offer their skills and volunteering ideas, and CHER team members will match potential volunteers with partners based on the results. Examples of remote volunteering from Spring 2020 can be found here.
CHER encourages remote volunteering during the pandemic. Trinity students must abide by College reopening policies on community engagement, as explained here. If staff and faculty choose in-person volunteering, follow College and public health advisories.
