Congressional Debate at the Cornelia Center

The nonpartisan League of Women Voters of Greater Hartford is sponsoring an on-campus debate Thursday, October 24 at 7:00 p.m.

The nonpartisan League of Women Voters of Greater Hartford is sponsoring an on-campus debate at the Cornelia Center on Vernon Street. The debate will feature:

Jim Griffin (Republican)
John Larson (Democrat)
Mary L. Sanders (Green Party)

These candidates are running to represent the U.S. House of Representatives’ First Congressional District, which includes much of Greater Hartford as well as Bristol, Cromwell, Southington, and Winsted. This is an exciting opportunity to hear directly from candidates about the important issues impacting our local area, our country, and our world, as well as to see a live political debate and to participate.
