The Certificate in Innovation provides students the opportunity to develop the core skills in creative problem-solving, critical thinking, design thinking, and open-ended innovation to develop leaders in the area of organizational execution. It also helps develop leaders who embrace a more deeply integrated understanding of creative process as a whole self, whole body-mind endeavor. There is a need for innovation in business, government, education, and non-profit organizations to address both local and global challenges and employers value people who can lead change and help their organizations better adapt to shifting market conditions, world trends and human needs. This certificate responds to those variables and prepares students to see themselves as \u201cinnovators” for life as they engage with complexities and nuance in our lived experience, to productively and conscientiously contribute forward-thinking solutions to society.<\/p>\n
