Trinity College maintains a Sexual Assault Resource Team (SART). SART members\u200b offer support, guidance, referrals, and information. SART members are trained to provide a prompt and thorough response to victims of all forms of alleged sexual misconduct. See the Trinity College Policy on Sexual Harassment<\/a> for detailed information on SART members and their individual ability to maintain confidentiality.<\/p>\n

Categories of Employees Regarding the Reporting of Sexual Misconduct at Trinity<\/h2>\n

Responsible Employees<\/h3>\n

All faculty and staff (with the exception of a few, as noted below), including RAs, are Responsible Employees. They are required to report all information told to them to the Title IX coordinator and the director of campus safety.\u00a0 P.R.I.D.E. Leaders are required to report information to the Title IX Coordinator and their Confidential Employee.<\/p>\n

Privileged Employees<\/h3>\n

Designated chaplains and professional counselors of the Counseling and Wellness Center have privileged communication. They may not reveal anything that is told to them in confidence. The free, 24-7 state hotlines (listed at the bottom of the page) are fully confidential, and have \u201cprivileged communication.\u201d<\/p>\n

Confidential Employees<\/h3>\n

Directors of the Women & Gender Resource Action Center (WGRAC), the Queer Resource Center (QRC), and the staff of the Health Center are Confidential Employees. Also included as a Confidential Employee is the Program Coordinator for P.R.I.D.E. and Cultural House Coordinator within the Office of Multicultural Affairs. <\/span>They provide only general information\u2014without identifiable information\u2014to the Title IX coordinator and the director of campus safety.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
