It includes asserted violent misdemeanor and felony offenses committed by the victim\u2019s current or former spouse, current or former cohabitant (e.g., roommate), or person similarly situated under domestic or family violence law. Domestic violence can be physical, sexual, emotional, economic, or psychological actions or threats of actions that influence another person.<\/p>\n
Dating violence is violence committed by a person who is or has been in a social relationship of a romantic or intimate nature with the victim. Whether there was such a relationship will be determined by the length, type, and frequency of the interaction.<\/p>\n
Intimate partner violence means any physical or sexual harm against an individual by a current or former spouse of, or person in a dating relationship with, such individual that results from any action by such spouse or such person that may be classified as a sexual assault, stalking, or family violence.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
