Join the eduroam network that appears in your wireless networks. Access to Trinity and home institution resources may be restricted. Contact your home institution if you have difficulty logging on.<\/p>\n<p>Trinity faculty, staff and students can connect to eduroam and have the same experience. If you are traveling or studying abroad, you may access wireless at any participating eduroam institution. Please note that you must logon the first time here on Trinity&#8217;s campus eduroam wifi before you may use eduroam at other institutions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mac and Windows Login Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>username@trincoll.edu (not just username)<\/li>\n<li>your Trinity password<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Connecting Chromebooks to eduroam<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Chromebooks cannot connect to eduroam automatically, but must be manually set up instead:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>From the <strong>WiFi\u00a0<\/strong>menu, select <strong>eduroam<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>In the <strong>eduroam<\/strong> window, click on the <strong>Configure<\/strong>button and enter the following settings:\n<ol>\n<li><strong>EAP Method:<\/strong> PEAP<\/li>\n<li><strong>Phase 2 Authentication:<\/strong> MSCHAPv2<\/li>\n<li><strong>Server CA Certificate<\/strong>: Do not check<\/li>\n<li><strong>Identity<\/strong>: username@trincoll.edu<\/li>\n<li><strong>Password:<\/strong> Your Trinity password<\/li>\n<li><strong>Anonymous Identity<\/strong>: &lt;Leave blank&gt;<\/li>\n<li>Check the box <strong>Save Identity and Password<\/strong> to save your credentials, and click the <strong>Connect<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Accept the eduroam certificate if you&#8217;re prompted.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Connecting Android Phones to eduroam<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Android phones cannot connect to eduroam automatically, but must have settings set manually:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to WiFi settings and confirm the following for eduroam:\n<ol>\n<li><strong>EAP method:<\/strong> PEAP<\/li>\n<li><strong>Phase 2 authentication:<\/strong> MSCHAPV2<\/li>\n<li><strong>CA certificate:<\/strong> Use system certificates<\/li>\n<li><strong>Online Certificate Status:<\/strong> Do Not Verify<\/li>\n<li><strong>Domain:<\/strong> cc.trincoll.edu<\/li>\n<li><strong>Identity:<\/strong> username@trincoll.edu<\/li>\n<li><strong>Anonymous Identity:<\/strong> &lt;Leave blank&gt;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>FAQ<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I reset my password and can no longer connect to eduroam.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Mac Users<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Turn you wifi off.<\/li>\n<li>Search on your Mac for the <strong>Keychain Access<\/strong> app and open it.<\/li>\n<li>In the Keychain Access window, search for <strong>eduroam<\/strong>. Double click to open it.<\/li>\n<li>In the eduroam window, check the box <strong>Show password<\/strong> and edit your password.<\/li>\n<li>Note that you will be prompted to enter your Mac password to save these changes in your Mac settings (not your Trinity password).<\/li>\n<li>Close all windows and turn wifi on to reconnect to eduroam.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Windows Users<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Student and Employee Personal Devices<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Right click on the eduroam wifi and select <strong>Forget network<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Restart device. Go to <strong>Networks,<\/strong> select eduroam and connect. You will be prompted to enter your new password.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Employees With College-Issued Laptops<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There is an additional step to reset the login Windows password (the password you enter when you turn the computer on).<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you are on campus:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Turn off wifi. Turn off laptop, and connect it to an Ethernet cable. Turn computer on.<\/li>\n<li>Upon restart, enter your new password on login.<\/li>\n<li>You may unplug the Ethernet cable and turn off wifi. Follow the steps above to <strong>Forget the eduroam network<\/strong> and be prompted for your new password for wifi.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>If you are off campus:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>After resetting your password, connect to VPN.
