Welcome Students in the Class of 2024!

We invite you to begin your Trinity experience early by enrolling in a Summer Session II online course, which runs from Monday, July 6 – Friday, August 7, 2020 (5-week session) or Monday, July 6 – Friday, August 14, 2020 (6-week session)​.

Incoming students are eligible to enroll in one course during Summer Session II.

Note: The pre-requisites for MUSC-225 and SOCL-217 will be waived for Summer 2020.

Students must qualify for appropriate level of math and language courses via placement exams and cannot register without completion of the exam. Click here for more information regarding the Starting Out process and placement exams.

Course Registration

Use your Trinity credentials (username and password) to register for your course.

Students can register until the final day of the add/drop period on Thursday, July 9. A $250 fee will be charged for classes dropped after after June 29 and no refunds will be given after the first class meeting.

Tuition for regular summer courses is $2955 per course credit and there are no registration or application fees.

The Student Accounts Office will bill Trinity students for tuition charges.  Trinity students can access and pay their tuition here. ​

Financial Aid Available!

Trinity College students who receive financial aid during the academic year (fall and/or spring) may be eligible for grant support for summer courses. Notify the Financial Aid Office of your interest in assistance, prior to the start of the course (by June 29 for Session II) via an email to our team at financialaidoffice@trincoll.edu. After an eligibility review, we will provide you with the results via email.

Course Cancellations

Courses may be canceled if they do not meet a minimum enrollment; you will be notified by the week of  June 29 if the course you selected is canceled.  If that occurs, you will be given the option of selecting a replacement course during that week, subject to the availability of seats.  If you decide not to take a replacement course, you will receive a full refund and not be assessed the drop fee.

Withdrawing From a Course

You may withdraw from a course and receive a grade of “W” prior to the fifth class meeting.  After this date, you will receive a grade of “F” if you choose not to complete the course; and withdrawing will require petitioning the Academic Affairs Committee for approval.  In order to drop or withdraw from a course, you must notify the Registrar’s Office in writing via e-mail.  A phone call is not accepted as notice to drop or withdraw, and failure to attend the class will not drop you from the course.
