Greek Life has a long and proud history at Trinity
College, dating back more than 165 years. Beginning with the founding of the Epsilon
chapter of St. Anthony Hall Delta Psi in 1850, Greek life has expanded and
changed over the years. We are home to 14 organizations, with
400+ student members, and many alumni who pride themselves on the rich
traditions and storied pasts found in the halls of each of these organizations.
Our 14 organizations consist of 7 men’s
fraternities, 5 women’s sororities, and 2 co-educational organizations
representing chapters from the North-American Inter-fraternity Conference,
National Panhellenic Conference, and the National Association of Latino
Fraternal Organizations. Under the leadership of the Inter-Greek Council, 10
organizations are inter/nationally affiliated, and 4 are local organizations
specific to Trinity’s campus.
Approximately 22 percent of the undergraduate
student population at Trinity is affiliated with Greek Letter Organizations.
Membership provides opportunities to meet new people, excel academically, hone
leadership skills, and serve the broader community through philanthropic and
service experiences.
Trinity Greek Life
boasts many impressive alumni, including major political figures, writers,
media personalities, and business people. The active alumni body also allows
for extensive networking and mentorship opportunities.
