The current structure is the third chapel. Its cornerstone was laid in 1928, and it was consecrated four years later during the height of the Great Depression. In the tradition of European churches and cathedrals, Trinity College Chapel was built to serve dual purposes: as a house of worship and a gathering place for the wider community.<\/p>\n<p>Today, the Chapel is a well-beloved institution that hosts a variety of events and occasions from across the Trinity College and Hartford communities, including weekly Chapel services, the Albert Schweitzer Organ Festival, Matriculation and Baccalaureate, concerts, and more.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We Seek God Together.
