Trinity College\u2019s women\u2019s squash team won the 2023\u201324 Howe Cup Collegiate Squash Association (CSA) national championship by downing Princeton University 6\u20132 in the finals, held in Philadelphia on March 3.\u00a0The Bantams recorded an undefeated season with a record of 17\u20130. The national championship was the fourth for the women\u2019s team, which previously won in 2002, 2003, and 2014.<\/p>\n
Following the season, longtime coach Wendy Bartlett announced her retirement after 40 years leading the program, as well as coaching women\u2019s tennis. Under her guidance, the women\u2019s squash program appeared in 12 CSA national championship final matches. \u201c[Bartlett] is a teacher, mentor, role model, and friend to legions of Bantam students,\u201d said Trinity Director of Athletics Drew Galbraith. \u201cShe bled blue and gold and will always be a big part of the Trinity family.\u201d<\/p>\n
