No appointments are necessary, but we ask students to abide by the above schedule when possible to minimize wait times for all. Failure to be tested may result in removal from campus privileges and withdrawal from the semester.

How you will receive test results

As with the previous testing process, negative results will be provided electronically from the Broad Institute via CareEvolve. You will receive an email with a link when results are available, and will need to log in or set up an account following the instructions on the link to see the results. The lab’s patient portal does not use the standard Trinity username and password. Those who have used the system in the past but need a password reset can follow the “forgot password” link on the login or click here: https://crsp.careevolve.com/Patient/Profile/ResetPwdWiz

If you are unable to complete the reset online, please contact the lab’s customer support team via the contact information on that page. Trinity staff do not have the ability to reset passwords.

If you test positive, you will receive a call from the Health Center. They will discuss next steps as described in the next section.

Isolation plans for this semester

Throughout January, we piloted a new isolation practice for students who test positive. We allowed students to isolate in their place of residence, when possible. This worked well, and we plan to continue this for the coming semester. The college will continue to set aside space for isolation housing and students have three options for isolation after testing positive, depending on the circumstances of their regular residential situation:

Isolate at home, with the expectation that travel occurs in private vehicles and not using public transportation or rideshare vehicles

Isolate in place in their own residence if they sleep in a single-occupancy room or if all members of a one-room double/one-room triple/two-room quads test positive. A group bathroom in the building will be designated the isolation bathroom. Residents of the building who are not in isolation will be directed to use one of the other bathrooms in the building. Students that live in apartment style living (on or off campus) and who sleep in a single occupancy room, will be able to isolate in that residence following the protocols as described in the “Spring 2022 Isolation plans”.

Relocate to isolation housing if roommates are not simultaneously positive.

COVID-19 boosters are required

Students were notified on December 14, 2021, that boosters are required to attend this semester, unless you have been grated an exemption. If you have not already done so, please upload your booster information by following the attached instructions that were sent to you on January 5, 2022. Please read the “Covid Vaccine Card Portal Upload Instructions”.

You are considered eligible five months from completion of the Pfizer or Moderna series and two months from the J&J primary COVID-19 vaccination.

We know that there are students who are not yet eligible for the booster; those students need not take any further action until they have reached eligibility. Once you are eligible and get the booster, you will be able to upload your vaccine card following this process.

Attached to this email is also the next booster clinic flyer with a QR code to scan. Feel free to schedule your booster if eligible and not yet boosted.

Finally, if you are eligible for the booster and you tested positive for COVID-19 prior to getting your booster shot, you may receive the vaccination immediately following the 10-day isolation period.

If you have any questions, please contact the Health Center at healthcenter@trincoll.edu

Sincerely,

Joe DiChristina, Vice President for Student Success and Enrollment Management
Jason Rojas, Chief of Staff and Associate Vice President for External Relations

January 28, 2022 Dear Students, As you know, weekly testing for COVID-19 begins as you arrive on campus and continues for students that have been on campus since the beginning of January.
