Hello, Trinity Faculty and Staff!<\/p>\n

Today is my first official day as Trinity College\u2019s 23rd president, and I wanted to send you a brief greeting. It brought me great joy to meet a number of you at our pop-up gatherings today, but I know many of you are away and are enjoying well-deserved time away from campus.<\/p>\n

Simply put, your work is the heart of Trinity\u2019s mission and why we are able to deliver our distinctive liberal arts education. Your dedication drives Trinity to a place of excellence. When you go the extra mile, our students notice. When we care about being a community that cares, our students feel supported.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve added some additional thoughts in this video message for you: A Message from President Lugo<\/a>. I wish all of you a festive July Fourth holiday and a restful summer. See you on the Long Walk!<\/p>\n
