In addition to using your Yealink office phone, you can also use the Teams app on your computer<\/a> to answer and make calls.<\/p>\n

Basic Call Features<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

Placing a Call<\/span><\/h4>\n
1. Do one of the following:
\n<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 – If you are using the handset, pick up the handset.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 – If you are using the speakerphone, with the handset on-hook, press \"\".<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 – If you are using the headset, with the headset connected, press\"Headset\"to activate the headset mode.<\/div>\n
2. Enter the number, and then press the\u00a0Call<\/strong> on touchscreen.<\/div>\n

Answering a Call<\/h4>\n
1. Do one of the following:<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 -Pick up the handset.<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 -Press\u00a0\"speakerphone\"to answer the call in hands-free (speakerphone) mode.<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 –<\/span>Press<\/span>\"headset\"<\/span>to<\/span> answer in headset mode.<\/span><\/div>\n
NOTE: You can reject an incoming call by pressing\u00a0 Reject<\/strong> on touchscreen.<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 -Press Accept Call on touchscreen.<\/div>\n

Ending a Call<\/h4>\n
1. Do one of the following:<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 -Hang up the handset or press the\u00a0End Call<\/strong> on touchscreen.<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 -Press\"speakerphone\"or the End Call<\/strong> on touchscreen.<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 -If you are using the headset, press the\u00a0End Call<\/strong> on touchscreen.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

To Redial a Call<\/h4>\n
1.\u00a0<\/span>Press Calls<\/strong> on touchscreen -> Recent<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span>
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n

Call Mute and Un-Mute<\/span><\/h4>\n
1. Press \"mute\" \"\"to mute the microphone during a call or press it again to un-mute the microphone during a call.<\/div>\n
Mute option can also be found on touchscreen.<\/div>\n

Call Hold and Resume<\/h4>\n
1. Press the\u00a0Hold<\/strong> option on the touchscreen during an active call to place a call on hold.<\/div>\n
2. Press\u00a0the\u00a0<\/span>Resume<\/strong> option on the touchscreen.<\/span><\/div>\n

Initiate a Conference Call<\/span>
\n<\/strong><\/h4>\n
Users can start an instant meeting on Teams phones. Once the meeting is created, users can add
\nparticipants by inviting them.<\/div>\n
To initiate a conference call by meet now:<\/strong><\/div>\n
1. From the Calendar screen tap \"\"<\/div>\n
2. Tap Join Now <\/strong>to start a meeting.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n
\n

Call Forward or Call Transfer<\/h4>\n
To enable call forward:<\/strong><\/div>\n
1. Tap initials->Settings<\/strong>->Calling <\/strong>on touchscreen.<\/span><\/div>\n
2. Select the desired type.
\n<\/span><\/div>\n
3. Press the Save<\/strong> option on touchscreen.
\n<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Voice Mail<\/h4>\n
When receiving \u00a0a new voice mail, a notification will displayed on the screen, and the power LED will slowly flash red.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

To listen to voice messages:<\/h4>\n
1. From the Home screen, tap …More<\/strong> then select Voicemail<\/strong>.<\/div>\n
2. Select the desired voicemail. Here you can also delete voicemails a change the message speed.<\/div>\n
Messages left in your voice\u00a0mail are automatically sent to\u00a0 your email as an attachment\u00a0and in most cases they are transcribed as text.\u00a0Transcription is not always possible or accurate, so to listen to the original\u00a0voice\u00a0message, open the attachment.\u00a0When you delete the email\u00a0message, it will deleted from your phone as well, and vice versa.<\/div>\n

To setup a Temporary or Out of Office voice mail greeting:<\/h4>\n
1. Login to Teams app.<\/div>\n
2. Click on your picture in the upper-right corner of Teams and choose Settings<\/strong> from the dropdown.<\/div>\n
3. Choose the Calls<\/strong> tab on the left of the flyout window.<\/div>\n
4. Under the Manage Voicemail <\/strong>heading, you’ll see a button titled Record a Greeting. You also have the option to Set up text-to-speech customized greeting if you prefer not to record your voice.<\/div>\n

Call History<\/h4>\n
1. Press Calls<\/strong> on the touchscreen.<\/div>\n
2. Select an entry from the list to view more information about that call.<\/div>\n

Directory<\/h4>\n
The phone directory includes a local directory and a Teams directory.<\/div>\n

To add a local contact:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. From the Home screen press …More<\/strong>->People-> + ->New Contact<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

To search for the local contacts:<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n
1. Press …More<\/strong>->People-><\/strong>select the magnifying glass.<\/span><\/div>\n

Customizing Your Phone<\/h4>\n

Volume Adjustment<\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 -Press\"\"during a call to adjust the receiver volume of the handset\/speakerphone\/headset.<\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 -Press\"\"when the phone is idle or ringing to adjust the ringer volume.<\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 -Press\"\"to adjust the media volume in the corresponding screen.<\/div>\n

Sign Into or Sign Out of Your Phone<\/h4>\n
You can sign into or out of your Teams account on the phone. This is useful when moving offices. The phone will remain in place because it is programmed by room location for 911 calls. You will logout of your phone in your old office and login to the phone already located in your new office. Follow the instructions below for your particular model phone.<\/div>\n

To sign into your Teams account:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

1. Press the\u00a0Sign In<\/strong> option and select Sign In from another device<\/strong>.

2. Follow the onscreen prompts.<\/div>\n
3. Note: If your phone reboots and stops on the language settings screen, select the check mark on the upper right side on the screen to continue.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
