For access to library databases and online journals, do not use VPN, but use the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.trincoll.edu\/lits\/help-support\/tech-support\/network\/access-library-resources-from-off-campus\/\">\u00a0library EZProxy instructions<\/a> instead.<\/p>\n<p>NOTE: If you installed Forticlient before and currently have an outdated version on your computer and you are unable to install the version linked below, go to the Start menu and click on the gear icon to go into Settings. Within Settings, select Apps and find Forticlient on the list. It should give you an option to uninstall. Run the uninstaller and restart your computer. You should then be able to install the latest version of Forticlient.<\/p>\n<p>1.) If you have Forticlient already installed on your computer, confirm what version you are running and follow the note above. Otherwise, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fortinet.com\/support\/product-downloads#vpn\">download the Forticlient installer on your computer<\/a>. Select the <strong>Forticlient VPN only option from the list<\/strong> of available products (not the whole suite of Forticlient applications).<\/p>\n<p>2.) After you download the file, click to run the installer.<\/p>\n<p>3.) Click the check box &#8220;<strong>Yes, I have read and accept the License Agreement<\/strong>&#8221; and click <strong>Next\u00a0<\/strong>(twice), Click <strong>Install<\/strong>. After the installation has completed, click <strong>Finish<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>4.) If the application does not automatically open, search for it using the search function in your start menu. Search for <strong>FortiClient VPN,<\/strong> Click to open.<\/p>\n<p>5.) Click the check box, and then click <strong>I accept.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>6.) Click on <strong>Configure VPN<\/strong> and enter the following information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Connection Name: Trinity<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Remote Gateway: waldo.trincoll.edu<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Check the <strong>Enable Single Sign On (SSO) for VPN Tunnel<\/strong> box<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>7.) Click <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>8.) Click <strong>SAML Login<\/strong>. A new window will open prompting you for your Trinity username@trincoll.edu and your Trinity password. Once authenticated, this window will disappear and you will be connected.<\/p>\n<p>9.) To disconnect, click<strong>\u00a0Disconnect<\/strong>. (Forticlient app icon can be found in your system tray.)<\/p>\n<p>Additional installers for other devices can be found at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fortinet.com\/support\/product-downloads#vpn\">https:\/\/www.fortinet.com\/support\/product-downloads<\/a>. Please download ONLY the \u201cForticlient VPN only\u201d option.
