Tamba is available for faculty and staff for departmental file sharing. You may use these instructions for accessing other servers by replacing the word “tamba” below with the server name you wish to connect (zep\/docex, tcdata, tbos).<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong> If you are attempting to connect to Tamba\u00a0or\u00a0these other\u00a0servers\u00a0from off-campus, you will need to\u00a0make a VPN connection first.<\/p>\n

Windows
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. From the Desktop, click on the Search<\/strong> icon on the bottom left.<\/li>\n
  2. In the\u00a0Search\u00a0<\/strong>box, type\u00a0\\\\tamba.cmpcntr.tc.trincoll.edu <\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Double click on the folder you would like to access. When prompted, enter your credentials:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    • User name: cmpcntr\\username<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Password: your Trinity password<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Mac OS
      \n<\/strong><\/p>\n

      1. From the\u00a0Finder<\/strong>, select the\u00a0Go<\/strong>\u00a0menu at the top of the screen.<\/li>\n
      2. Select\u00a0Connect to Server…<\/strong><\/li>\n
      3. In the\u00a0Server Address\u00a0<\/strong>field, type\u00a0smb:\/\/tamba.cmpcntr.tc.trincoll.edu\/foldername<\/strong><\/li>\n
      4. Enter your credentials:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        • User name: cmpcntr\\username<\/strong><\/li>\n
        • Password: your Trinity password<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
