This past year, recent graduate Sydney Yu researched the impact of coeducation at Trinity on the theater department in the 1970s.<\/p>\n

“Prior to coeducation, most productions at Trinity featured mainly male casts, both due to the then-available student population and the choice of canonized works of the Western tradition for performance. As Trinity College transitioned into a coeducational institution beginning in 1969, Trinity’s theater productions, which had predominantly featured male-centric narratives, gradually embraced more inclusive casting and storytelling.
