However, the Archives reserves the right to refuse materials and to review accepted materials before accessioning for long-term preservation. The College Archives does not accept materials on deposit.<\/p>\n<h3>Types of Material that the College Archives will Accept as Donations:<\/h3>\n<h5>Texts, published or unpublished<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Letters home from students<\/li>\n<li>Student zines and self-publications<\/li>\n<li>Student newspapers, dated before 1900 (which fill a gap)<\/li>\n<li>Official college publications (which fill a gap)<\/li>\n<li>Publications by or about Trinity faculty, staff, students, and alumni (which fill a gap)<\/li>\n<li>Masters Theses &#8211; electronic format only\u00a0 (See <a href=\"https:\/\/digitalrepository.trincoll.edu\/grad\/guidelines.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Author Guidelines, Masters Theses<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Senior Theses and Senior Projects &#8211; electronic format only (See <a href=\"https:\/\/digitalrepository.trincoll.edu\/theses\/guidelines.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Author Guidelines, Senior Theses<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Student Organization Records<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Fraternity and Sorority records (which fill a gap)<\/li>\n<li>Student Government Association (which fill a gap)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Photographs<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Department photographs (e.g. Communications Office Photos)<\/li>\n<li>Photographs taken by students, faculty, or staff (which fill a gap)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Architectural drawings<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Plans of the William Burges-Francis Kimball design of the Long Walk<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Audiovisual<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Oral Histories<\/li>\n<li>Athletics Films<\/li>\n<li>Theater Performances<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Faculty Papers\u00a0 (selective)<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Papers created by or for faculty during their time at Trinity College<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Personal\/Family Papers related to Trinity Presidents, Faculty, Staff, Alumni, Students\u00a0 (selective)<\/h5>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>The College Archives will <strong><em>NOT<\/em><\/strong> Accept as Donations:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Student Yearbooks (<em>Ivy<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li>Student Lecture Notes created after 1970<\/li>\n<li>Issues of the<em> Trinity Tripod <\/em>or\u00a0<em>Trinity Reporter<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Textiles or clothing (except in unusual circumstances)<\/li>\n<li>Textbook collections<\/li>\n<li>Research files composed largely of photocopies, such as those from secondary sources.<\/li>\n<li>Multiple copies (three of any item is maximum)<\/li>\n<li>Active records (records still in use or regularly referred to)<\/li>\n<li>Bank statements and canceled checks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please consult the Trinity College Archivist, <strong>Eric C.
