All computers purchased are the property of Trinity College and must be returned when replaced or when the faculty\/staff member leaves Trinity.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Trinity will provide access to a computer as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
<\/td>\nStandard (no charge to department)<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/td>\nUpgrade above default (charges will apply)<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/td>\nReplacement (on regular replacement cycle, or due to malfunction)<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/thead>\n

Replacement Cycle: Five years. Cycle may change depending on funding. When a replacement computer is provided, the older machines cannot be supported and must be returned to LITS. These computers are more likely to fail, and they increase the total number of computers in use at Trinity, contributing to higher-cost software licenses.<\/span><\/p>\n
